Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is taking a toll on the lives of people across the borders. Persons with disabilities are one of the most vulnerable population groups that suffer the most during such pandemic situation. Persons with disabilities are at increased risk of COVID-19 infection because of multiple reasons: many of them cannot maintain social distance and separation from caregivers, most of them have limited access to COVID-19 related information and poor access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities.1
